Most of our Junior School pupils continue their journey with us into Senior School, where they are joined by boys from over 200 primary and preparatory schools. This rich mix of backgrounds and experiences helps create a vibrant, welcoming community where every pupil can find his place.
Entry points and opportunities
While the main entry point is 11+, we also welcome pupils at 12+, 13+ and 16+.
To ensure talented boys can thrive here, the school offers a range of scholarships and bursaries, with around one in four pupils receiving financial assistance
a supportive start
Starting a new school is a big step—for pupils and for parents. That’s why we put extensive support in place long before the first day of term.
New Parents’ Morning (June): Families hear from the Head Master, the Head of Year 7 and senior staff about academic life, pastoral care and co-curricular opportunities.
Moving Up Day: New Year 7 pupils get to know their classmates, explore the campus and enjoy activities such as music, drama and sport, alongside practical introductions to timetables, registration and the library.
For pupils joining at other entry points, we arrange personalised introductions, including a meeting with their Form Tutor, ensuring every boy feels confident and ready for the journey ahead.
