On Wednesday 23 September, the first of our regular Drivetime Concerts got the year off to a bang in the music department.
Starting at 4.15pm in the Recital Room, we were graced with music from half of the Year 10 GCSE Cohort with a wide variety of music on offer, from Starsky and Hutch’s title theme (performed with alacrity on the drums by Fred) to some Schumann and Malcolm Arnold (offered by Oscar and Jayven) with Joe Hisaishi on the menu as well (with thanks to Jay).
Congratulations to all the boys for their performances and our gratitude to them for proffering their music to a grateful audience; it is fantastic to hear them perform at these low-stakes concerts and just spread the joy of their passion!
If you would like to join us for another one, we have one on Wednesday 30th September from the rest of our GCSE Year 10 cohort!
