Our new Year 7 pupils enjoyed a fantastic Belonging Trip to Oaker Wood Leisure near Leominster this week. The trip provided a wonderful opportunity for the boys to get to know their new classmates, form tutors and prefects in a relaxed and informal setting, with teamwork and having fun at its heart.
Across the two days, the boys tackled a wide range of activities including rafting, low ropes, an assault course, capture the flag, team-building challenges and woodland Krypton logic puzzles. There was plenty of laughter, teamwork and, inevitably, a few brave boys who dared to swim in the lake!
A huge thank you to all the Year 7 form tutors, the fantastic team at Oaker Wood and our Year 7 prefects for their enthusiasm, encouragement and hard work in making the trip such a success. It was a brilliant start to the boys’ time at Warwick School and a great opportunity to begin building the friendships and sense of belonging that will be so important throughout their Year 7 journey.
