Boarding at Warwick offers the best of both worlds: the focus and support of a single-sex learning and living environment, together with regular opportunities for boys and girls to learn, socialise and take part in activities together.
A structure to succeed
We recognise that pupils learn in different ways and thrive in different settings. Our structure is designed to give every pupil the best possible chance to succeed.
Pupils study in single-sex classes through most of their school years, with some co-educational opportunities in the early years and an increasing range of shared activities as they grow older.
In the Sixth Form, boys and girls come together for selected subjects and social activities, and they share a modern, purpose-built Sixth Form Centre where they can study and relax outside lessons.
Boarders in School House and King’s High School Way House also enjoy time together at meals, during supervised study periods, and through evening and weekend activities, while still having separate boarding houses for living and sleeping.
This balanced approach helps pupils build confidence, strong friendships and important life skills, preparing them well for further study, university and life beyond school.
